What happens if a customer forgets their phone number or QR code at checkout? add
If a customer cannot identify themselves at the point of sale, the transaction proceeds as a normal cash or card sale without awarding points. Yoyo does not allow retroactive points to be added to a completed anonymous transaction for security reasons. However, customers can add their receipt number to the Yoyo app within a short window to claim missed points, depending on your programme settings. We recommend training cashiers to prompt for the loyalty identifier at the start of the transaction rather than at payment, which reduces missed point claims and customer frustration.
